Information
Stretching over 120km along the north banks of the Zambezi, together with the bordering Mana Pools Reserve in Zimbabwe, the Lower Zambezi National Park creates an enormous wildlife sanctuary. On the park’s northern perimeter, an escarpment forms a scenic backdrop and acts as a physical barrier concentrating the game to the valley floor. This park is particularly noted for the diversity of activities available. Take to a canoe or boat and view herds of elephants at close range or simply float down the river at leisure. The large populations of Fish Eagles also hint at the area’s excellent fishing.
