When to Go
Kenya lies on the equator and receives some rainfall all year round.
December to March and June to October are driest months while the wettest time is during the ‘long rains’ of April and May. The ‘short rains’ fall in November but have minimal impact on travel.
The coast is hot and humid all year round but is pleasantly cooled by coastal winds.
The annual migration reaches the Masai Mara between the months of July to September making this an ideal time to see large concentrations of wildlife.
