Close to Bulawayo in the south-west of Zimbabwe, the Matopos National Park is an area of granite rocks, hills and wooded valleys. The national park covers an area of 424 square km of which 100 square km is a wildlife park which has been stocked with wildlife including Black and White Rhino. As well as being the burial place of Cecil John Rhodes, this national park also features an outstanding collection of rock paintings.
