great location for:

The second largest island in the Seychelles, and just a 15 minute flight from Mahe, Praslin is home to the Vallee de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is believed to be the site of the Garden of Eden and is home to the Coco-de-Mer, a palm unique to the Seychelles. The nut of the Coc-de-Mer is the largest in the world and the towering branches of the palm create a captivating, magical atmosphere inside the valley. Praslin has absolutely stunning beaches including Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, both regularly featured in lists of the world’s finest. The island offers a range of accommodation options and is an excellent base for trips to the numerous nearby islands. As an alternative island experience, La Digue is difficult to beat. The Seychelles third most populated island and just an hour away by ferry from Praslin, or a 10 minute light aircraft flight, La Digue is a place where the ox-cart and bicycle are still the favoured mode of transport and where genuine welcoming smiles will always greet you.
