Tafika Camp

Located on the west bank of the Luangwa River, exceptional game viewing is combined with exciting activities including daily day and night drives, mountain bike safaris, walking safaris and visits to the local Mkasanga Village. Tafika Camp accommodates up to 14 guests in six spacious chalets with en suite facilities, built from natural materials around the trunks of stunning sausage trees.

Situated on a sweeping curve of the Luangwa River, Chinzombo Lodge brings style and sophistication to the Luangwa Valley. This wildly luxurious camp retains its bush authenticity with grass and canvas walls and spacious living areas that melt into the exquisitely tranquil riverside setting. Each of the six stunning villas has a private plunge pool and offers panoramic views of the Luangwa River and the abundant wildlife that frequents its banks.

Lion Camp

Three Rivers Camp

As the name suggests, Three Rivers Camp is located at the confluence of the Luangwa, Luzangazi and Kapamba Rivers. The area features open lagoons and is teeming with wildlife including big herds of elephant and buffalo, giraffe, antelope, wild dog and much more. The camp includes five sophisticated tents, each with its own raised sleeping platform, with the option of a night under the African sky.

Island Bush Camp

Island Bush Camp enjoys a very remote location in an extremely game-rich area of the southern section of the South Luangwa National Park. It is in this complete solitude, far away from other crowds, that walking safaris take place in the mornings and afternoons. TIsland Bush Camp offers authentic bush accommodation in five elevated reed huts, with bucket showers and running water. The huts are open sided with a private verandah overlooking the Luangwa River.

Kafunta River Lodge

Kafunta River Lodge is owned and operated by Anke & Ron Cowan who have made the Luangwa Valley their home for the past 20 years. The 10-room lodge is located on the floodplains of the Luangwa River, away from the busier area near the park’s Mfuwe gate. During the peak season the lodge accesses the national park via its own pontoon.

Flatdogs Camp

Flatdogs Camp provides comfort and excellent facilities at a fantastic price. The camp has a good sized swimming pool, plenty of space to relax under a tree and offers delicious dining. The luxury en suite tents are situated on the banks of the Luangwa and are simple with wonderful views. Bathrooms are open air and have a hot shower, flush toilet and sink.
