Kichuguu Camp

Meaning ‘termite mound’ in Swahili, Kichuguu is named after this prominent feature found all over Tarangire National Park. A 45-minute drive from the main gate, this camp is located in a less crowded area of the park with great access to the river, swamp and other areas. Kichuguu offers an extremely comfortable and intimate atmosphere in the middle of Tanzania’s wilderness!

Nimali Tarangire

Nimali is an exclusive luxury lodge located on the eastern boundary of Tarangire National Park and is situated alongside the riverbed and well hidden amongst the acacia and baobab trees. Natural materials are merged with contemporary decor and the main areas comprise of a spacious lounge, library and a central dining area that overlooks the swimming pool and a waterhole that attracts wildlife.

Oliver’s Camp

Established by Paul Oliver in 1992, Oliver’s reflects the glory days of African safari. The camp has a low-key simplicity enhanced by discreet creature comforts and truly welcoming hosts. Expert guides give you access to the wilderness beyond. Come nightfall, meals are taken communally in the dining room. Whiskies are poured around the campfire and safari tales told late into the night.

Tarangire River Camp

Tarangire River Camp is just 3.5 km from the main entrance to the Park with 20 luxurious safari tents, which are all en-suite with hot and cold running water, all the comforts you will need whilst on safari and open out onto stunning views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro.
